Creating Contact in ERPNext

A contact is a person’s information that may be used or related with a Lead, Customer, Supplier, Shareholder, Sales Partner or a User.

To create a Contact:

  1. Login to ERPNext

  2. Go to CRM.

  3. Under Sales Pipeline, click Contact.

  4. To create a new Contact, click New.

  5. Enter the required information.

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Status - Choose the status if the contact is passive, is open to contact or has replied.

Other contact information such as email, phone, etc.

6. Click Save to apply changes.

Note: You can also add a Contact from the Customer or Supplier record by clicking on “New Contact” button as shown below under the Address and Contact section.
