Creating Activity Type in ERPNext

Activity Type are activities which you can set against a Timesheet in ERPNext. These are part of tasks assigned to the employee, that must be accomplished and tracked to monitor project utilization and costs.
There are already default activities in ERPNext. In case there is a need to enter additional activities, follow these steps:
1. Login to ERPNext.
2. Go to Project > Activity Type. List of existing Activity Types will appear.
3. Click βNewβ
4. Enter the following information:
Activity Type (Mandatory)
Default Costing Rate
Default Billing Rate
5. Click Save to apply the changes.
The new Activity Type should now be available on the list of Activities when creating Timesheets.
